Species Descripton
There are two types of crassipes. Normal Crassipes and Crassipes from the Kattabul region.
Phlogius Sp.Crassipes 'Kattabul' are a huge tarantula growing to great sizes of 180-200mm. A very stocky spider with thick legs that make them apear even larger. They are a generally dark spider with nice post moult colours.
Princess has ignored the burrow i started for her and rathers sitting out in the open 24/7. Very active and has layered the whole tank in a mat of silk. Not overly aggressive and has hissed at me a few times. She will hopefully be breeding this season.
February 18th
Princess the 180mm female arrived. She was very reluctant to get out of the container, but once she did it took mum a while to gain the courage to step into my room again once she saw Princess' true size
